ABOUT ME

My Journey

As a Sports Therapist, I am keen to enhance movement through the body using a variety of tailored soft tissue massage techniques including effleurage, petrissage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, passive stretching .These techniques benefit the body by improving circulation of the blood and lymph, as well as improving tissue health through breaking down adhesions and welcoming balance to the body. Sports therapy techniques include manual therapy, joint mobilisation, dry needling and medical accupuncture, dry cupping, kinesio-taping, sports taping and strapping and rehabilitation programmes. In my spare time I am a keen runner and enjoy running marathons and ultramarathons. I am an England Athletics Run Leader Lirf and run my own moving mental health group called Positive Steps, we have a weekly running and walking group focusing on enjoying the outdoors, improving your wellbeing and making friends. I also enjoy wild camping wild swimming and hiking. My love for being active and fitness and interest into how the body moves drove my career change into Sports Massage and from there  Sports Therapy. My aim is to help people move in the best way possible, pain amd injury free and lead the best quality of life they can
